 Cette année, l’European Spiritual Film Festival se déroulera au Comptoir général.
Un lieu extraordinaire, spécialement dédié à la solidarité et à l’environnement.

The European Spiritual Film Festival 2010 will be held at Le Comptoir Général,
an extraordinary space, conceived upon themes of solidarity and the importance
of environnement.

Durant deux jours, l’European Spiritual Film Festival devient un lieu de rencontre
et de découverte : écrivains, chanteurs, comédiens, musiciens, cinéastes, peintres…
viennent élargir et enrichir le thème de la spiritualité.

During the two days, the European Spiritual Film Festival will host a place of
introductions and discovery. Writers, singers, actors, musicians,  filmmakers,
painters, etc.  will be present to broaden and enrichen the theme of spirituality.

Comme chaque année, des personnalités du monde du cinéma et de la spiritualité
remettront les prix pour récompenser les meilleurs films de chaque catégorie.

As with every year, respected figures from film and spiritual backgrounds will present
the awards given to the best films in each category.

LE PROGRAMME

 Samedi 27 mars :
Salle 1 : 14H00/20H00 Exposition livres sur la spiritualité, DVDs…
Salle 1 : 14H00/16H00 Projection du film “City of the Dawn“ de Christopher Buhrman
(80 mn), suivie d’une conférence sur le même sujet : Auroville, la fameuse ville
expérimentale située en Inde où il n’y a ni nationalité, ni religion, ni politique.
Salle 2 : 16H00/20H00 Projection des films primés : fictions, documentaires,
courts métrages et films d‘animation.
21H00 : Soirée d‘ouverture avec un court spectacle de Théâtre Nô interprété par
Massato Matsuura (Maître de Nô et Iaï).
Performance picturale du peintre Mwana sous les percussions de Pascal Bihannic.

Saturday, March 27th :
Hall 1 : 14H00/20H00 Book expo related to spirituality, DVDs…
Hall 1 : 14H00/16H00 Screening of « City of the Dawn » by Christopher Buhrman
(80 mn), followed by a Q&A session with members of the film’s theme: Auroville,
the experimental city in India where conflicts stemming from nationality, race,
religion, or politics do not exist.
Hall 2 : 16H00/20H00 Screening of awarded films: fiction, documentary,
short films and animation.
21H00 : Opening festivities with a short performance of Noh Theater interpreted by
Massato Matsuura (Master of Noh and Iaï).
Followed by mind-blowing performance artist / painter Mwana and the percussions of Pascal Bihannic.

Dimanche 28 mars :
Salle 1 : 14H00/20H00 Exposition livres sur la spiritualité, DVDs…
Salle 1 : 14H00/15H00 Démonstration de Wutao (Sentir l’âme du mouvement,
trouver son rythme intérieur, danser le souffle, tels sont les ingrédients de la danse du tao).
Salle 2 : 14H00/20H00 Projection des films primés : fictions, documentaires,
courts métrages et films d‘animation.
21H00 : Soirée de clôture avec remise des Prix.
Mini concert de Yor, poète musicien, qui joue, bluffe, dribble sur scène de mille façons
avec un humour mordant.

Sunday, March 28th :
Hall 1  : 14H00/20H00 Book expo related to spirituality, DVDs…
Hall 1 : 14H00/15H00 Demonstration of Wutao (feeling the soul of movement,
find one’s interior rhythm, controlled breathing, all of which are ingredients
of the dance of tao).
Hall 2 : 14H00/20H00 Screening of  awarded films: fiction, documentary,
short films and animation.
21H00 : Closing festivities including the Awards Ceremony.
Mini concert presenting Yor, a poet / musician who acts, humors,
expresses  himself onstage in thousands of ways with biting wit.
